33-Year-Old Widow Discovers She Was Married To Her Grandfather For 13 Years

Anna Grahmson, a 33-year-old widow, made an unpleasant discovery when she realized while reading the will of her deceased husband that she had been married to her own grandfather for 13 years.

The will left by her deceased spouse acknowledged the terrible truth that he had uncovered, a truth he kept from her not to break her heart, he swore in writing.

Anna’s husband and grandfather also wrote that he only had recently learned about her wife being her granddaughter a few years ago and was blissfully unware of the facts during most of ‘the 13 beautiful years’ of their relatiosnhip, he wrote.

The young woman’s mother was given away as a child to her grandfather’s sister at the time when the man and his former wife abandoned their child to the family, without notice, to pursue an unsuccessful career as actors in Germany.

Her grandfather eventually came back many years later to Denmark, but other relatives he knew had passed away since then.

The strange couple both met 14 years ago at a large Grahmson family reunion where more than 400 related family members were reunited, thinking they had no direct family tie to each other, except her name.
